Websites for Event and Entertainment Businesses

Someone planning a wedding, a party or a holiday display is comparing options with a date in mind. Your website has to show them the good time, tell them what it costs and let them ask about their date before they move on to the next tab. We build websites for event and entertainment businesses around galleries, packages and booking inquiries. Shutterbug Photo Booths, River Falls Limo and Christmas Design Lighting are in our portfolio.

What an event business website needs

Event customers buy with their eyes first and their calendar second. The site has to look like the event they want, then get practical fast. These are the parts we build into every site in this trade; our other industry pages cover businesses with very different customers.

  • Galleries that sell the experience. River Falls Limo’s one-page site leads with a gallery. Shutterbug Photo Booths went further: their custom-coded site connects to third-party photo hosting, so guests find their own pictures after the event and come back to the site to do it.
  • Packages and pricing. A visitor who can see three packages with starting prices sends a better inquiry than one who has to guess. If your pricing depends on the event, the packages set expectations and the form collects the details.
  • Availability and booking inquiries. Christmas Design Lighting’s customers browse and book on the site. A date, a venue and a package are enough for a request, and you confirm from there.
  • Reviews from real events. A Google Business Profile that gathers reviews, and a few of them on the site with the reviewer’s name, because a planner trusts a stranger who hired you more than anything you say about yourself.
  • Seasonal pages that keep working. Christmas Design Lighting’s site includes a blog of seasonal tips that brings visitors in between seasons, and social media is woven in. A seasonal business needs the site to earn its keep in the off months too.
  • The right size of site. River Falls Limo needed one page with a gallery, the services and the contact details, plus a new logo, and that is what we built. Not every event business needs more.

What we need from you

Your packages and starting prices, your best event photos, the season and the areas you serve, and how you want to be booked. If guests need to find photos after an event, as Shutterbug Photo Booths’ guests do, tell us and we plan for it. If you need a logo too, as River Falls Limo did, we design it alongside the site.

You get the price and the launch date in writing, we build the gallery and the booking inquiry around your packages, and the site launches, usually within 4 to 8 weeks, ahead of the season you are selling.

Hosting and maintenance between events

New packages, this season’s dates, last weekend’s photos: send them over and they are on the site in under 48 hours. Hosting and maintenance is $200/month and covers the hosting, backups and security updates as well, so the site is ready when the next planner finds it at eleven at night.

Frequently Asked Questions

What event businesses ask before they hire us.

They can send an availability request with the date, venue and package, and you confirm. Christmas Design Lighting’s customers book on the site; a calendar that shows blocked dates is possible when you want it.

Packages with starting prices usually bring better inquiries than a form alone, because people know what they are asking for. If your pricing depends on the event, we present packages and let the form collect the details.

In a gallery that loads fast on a phone, sorted by event type. Shutterbug Photo Booths needed more than that, so their site connects to third-party photo hosting where guests find their own pictures.

It keeps earning. Christmas Design Lighting’s site has a blog of seasonal tips that keeps bringing visitors between seasons, and booking next season early is a good off-season call to action.

For some businesses, yes. River Falls Limo’s site is one page with a gallery, the services and the contact details, and it does the job. Landing pages start at $500.
