These terms govern your use of lackeydesigns.com and the tools offered on it, including the Website Grader. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms cover the website and its free tools. They do not govern paid client engagements, which are covered by the separate proposal or agreement signed for that project. Where the two conflict, the signed agreement wins.

Who we are

Lackey Designs is a web design and development consultancy operated by Lackey Designs LLC in Fishers, Indiana. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Lackey Designs, and “you” means the person using the site.

Using the site

You may read, share, and reference the content on this site. You may not copy it wholesale for republication, scrape it in bulk, attempt to interfere with its operation, probe it for vulnerabilities, or use it to send unsolicited messages.

The Website Grader

The Website Grader is offered free and without an email requirement. It accepts a domain name and returns a scored report covering performance, on-page SEO, accessibility, broken links, security headers, and AI search readiness.

Only submit domains you own or are authorized to evaluate. The tool makes real requests to the site you enter. Submitting a domain you have no relationship with, in volume or to cause disruption, is not permitted.

The Grader is rate limited per IP address and overall. Reports are cached for 24 hours. We may change, limit, or withdraw the tool at any time.

The report reflects automated checks at a moment in time. It is a starting point for a conversation, not a professional audit, a security assessment, or a legal compliance determination. Scores may change between runs as the site or the underlying data sources change. Some checks under-report on purpose, dropping ambiguous results rather than raising false alarms, so a clean result is not proof that no issue exists.

Do not rely on a Grader report as your sole basis for a business, technical, or legal decision. In particular, accessibility checks identify some common problems but do not establish compliance with the ADA, WCAG, or any other standard. A proper accessibility audit involves manual testing that no automated tool performs.

The client dashboard

The client dashboard is a private internal tool. It is not a public service and access is limited to authorized Lackey Designs personnel. Nothing on this site grants any right to access it.

Intellectual property

The content, design, code, and branding on this site belong to Lackey Designs unless credited otherwise. Work produced for clients is governed by that client’s agreement, and ownership transfers as specified there.

Links to other sites

We sometimes link to third-party sites, including client work and outside resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

No warranty

This site and its tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any report it produces will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lackey Designs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of this site or its tools. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or the Website Grader will not exceed $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the maximum extent permitted.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Lackey Designs against claims and costs arising from your misuse of the site, your violation of these terms, or your submission of domains you were not authorized to evaluate.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hamilton County, Indiana.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
